Bird Mask

All thats left to do is put a bit of felt inside the mouth and its done. This is a use-your-own-eyes mask and will fit up to a 25 in noggin. Fitted neck, zipper in the back.

So this is my very first bird. Anyone want it? Im looking for $250 + S&H AND A colorful paintjob concept. Updates

Sin, Cabby, Alice.M boots are underway, Synchra will be started on Monday.

Fur for Synchra is in.
All CR furs are still on the way and should hit me Tuesday. Thats when I will be able to put fur on most pairs of boots, and then be able to start hands for everyone.

Also my thumb is healing, but I think I screwed up the nerves a little bit cause it feels pretty freakin weird whenever I touch something on a particular part of the thumb. Fortunatly its my left hand so whatever.

Got a bird mask in the works, will post pics of that when its done, it will be up for sale, incidently. Not telling what species it will be yet though

Posting this based on the seemingly most popular queries to hti my inbox. These are Finalized Prices and if you were quoted at a lower rate this month, said quote will be honored at that price. Quotes from prior to this month will need to be re-evaluated. This is for from now onward and is by no means a comprehenseive list of what I offer.

That said...

-Partials for basic canine or feline type critters start at $650
(Head, hands, feet, tail)

-Digitigrade/unguligrade- Hoof and Paw Boots start at $160 for Shin-highs

-Taxidermy eye masks start at $550

-Use your Own Eyes masks start at $450

-Custom Dragon Masks start at $200

-Ear Sets Start at $40

Notes: -Partials are overall cheaper per a part than just buying a set of gloves or a tail.

-All heads come standard with moving jaws. Taxidermy moves better than te Use-your-own-eyes but that may soon change if some experiemnts Im working on work out well... stay tuned on that.

-Most of my color work is done with airbrush, but I do offer fur-matching for extra.

-Yes I do take orders for individual parts.

-Yes I do Ear and Tail Sets.

-I dont do really toony stuff. Realistic/ mostly realistic type builds take prefference

-I really love haveing concept artwork to work with. Or Photos of the animal you want me to be making a costume of. It helps me a lot.

-The que IS going to fill up fast. Be ready to email me immedatly on November 1st if you've had a quote prior and have not yet confirmed your order for this que. I cannot promise that everyone who has had a quote will fit on said que simply because there have been so many.

SF Opera Prop/Costume Shop sale...

We came, we stood in line, we saw, we conquered.

Arrival was at 10:30 am thismorning, already the line wound round the secondary warehouse and around the corner. We waited in that line till about 3:30pm, at wich point, at the point of about 10 people behind me, my freind Jenny and my boyfreind, Porch, the rest of what was atleeast a 50 yard line was told to go home and come back the next day. We were VERY lucky and at 3:45ish pm, we were finally granted entry.

I can only imagine the wonder that we missed out on by not being there atr 6am like some of the camp-out-ers, but what was left was truely fantastic. There were no furs left in the fabric section... curse you bay area furries, jesus (yes Im kidding) BUT I cam away with a roll of nice white silk dupioni for 15.00, a good linen sortof... cult... type robe, with a hood for $10 and a simple purple vest that Im going to take-in and make into a good ol funky artist's vest... thing... a steal at $1. There were these amaaaazeing linen robes WITH cloacks (didnt care for the hood, but too much of a KK vibe), purpley-red with red speckle-painting on them. Heavy as HELL and beautiful... $50... I regret not snagging one but the reality is that I have no reason whatsoever to wear the, : )

the checkout line was another 2hours to get out. We were out at about 7:30 pm.

Whew.

Finished customized dragon masks are STILL available on a commission basis too.

-Werewolf mask will not going into DIY availability as I had hoped. I managed to screw up part of the mold and now the top and bottom pieces dont fit right anymore. Was REALLY pissed off at that one. However the Top half may be made available for half-mask projects, shaman get-ups, larp-utility, that kind of thing. A new werewolf with fitted bottom jaw is not likely in the near future as a side project but I am willing to take on the project on a commission basis. Would love to.

Dragon DIY

After some long and hard thought I have decided to offer the use-your-own eyes dragon mask as DIYs. A lot of people have asked for it annnd a I think it will be fun to spread the love : )

The Dragons are a little bit tricky and not reccomended for total beginers to costuming but with some work the basic provided shell can be made into something totally unique. Its light weight, sturdy and can take either a basic Vandykes's medium wolf taxidermy jawset or you can sculpt-in your own with magic-sculpt.

This mask will not fit really huge heads/faces- it WILL fit most women, it will NOT fit most guys, unless you are little.

Kit comes with the two halves of the mask, and hinge-jaw components pre-installed, you just screw them together. Comes with some basic instructions for putting in the chin-strap and headstrap and a few painting tips.

EDIT as of 10/21/09- Price is 75.00 +S&H.

All orders officially placed placed prior to this date will still be honored at the prior price. Production cost proved higher than expected.
